Return to Liberty...(Prologue)

[Isaiah]

After five years, Silas Styles has returned to Liberty City. Thiings were very different than when he left. Silas drives across the bridge from Alderney and into Algonquin. Silas still drives his cousin Larry's black Landstalker. It has seen better days. As he stops at a red light, he looks over at Amber. She is in the passenger side of the car and is sound asleep. Silas turns on the radio. Not wanting to wake amber up, he puts on JNR, the jazz station. The sun is coming up and the city is calm. Silas heads for Galveston ave. and Wardite Street. He reaches for his cell phone and starts to call his old friend Cole.

(The phone rings)...
Cole: Hello?
Silas: Is this Cole?
Cole: Who wants to know?
Silas: An old friend...
Cole: Is this one of Steel's boys? Look, I told you to stop calling me, If you wanna get fucked up, you know where I stay at. I'm tired of having to deal with you muthafuckas! I'l fucking kill you...
Silas: Hold on man, I don't know what your talking about. This is Silas.
Cole: Silas? He's dead.

[Isaiah]

(Continued)...

Silas: Nah, the other Silas. You thinking of Silas Brown.
Cole: They both dead. Stop playing games with me! Who the fuck is this?!
Silas: I ain't dead nigga! Remember when we robbed Pete and his brother Skip?
Cole: Oh, shit! This really you. I thought you got killed in Carcer City. What you been doing for five years?
Silas: Listen, we'll catch up later. Right now, we heading to your crib. You still live on Galveston?
Cole: Yeah...wait, my crib? Who is we?
Silas: Don't worry about the details, Just let me in.
Cole: Nigga, you don't know what type of shit I've been dealing with, hurry up.

Driving down Galveston avenue, Silas got a good look at what his former neighborhood had become. Surprisingly, it was actually a bit nicer. He saw the brownstones that had replaced the rundown buildings of the past. There was less graffiti and the general atmosphere seemed a little calmer. Silas parked the Landstalker and turned off the ignition. He reaches for the glove compartment and grabs his Glock 18. He grabs the two ammo clips and puts one in the gun. With the gun loaded he places it in the back of his pants. Silas takes a deep breath and looks around at his surroundings. Things look a little better but he knows Liberty City. It never changes. It is still the same cold city that it has always been...

Silas looks at Amber. She is still asleep. He reaches over and places his cold hand around her neck as if to choke her. Amber suddenly awakes with a scream. Silas grins and takes his hand away. "I scared you didn't I?" he says. Amber is relieved but angry. "Don't do shit like that!".

Silas gets out the Landstalker and in a serious tone, he orders Amber to stay in the car. She nods her head and Silas dissapears into the apartment building...

As Silas Styles makes his way up the stairs, he can hear familiar sounds. Chldren crying, a couple arguing, music blasting. The beautiful sounds of the ghetto. Silas felt at home. When he finally reached the 6th floor, he banged loudly on the door labeled 6C. Inside he could hear Cole's voice..."Who da fuck is bangin' like the police?!". Silas replies "It's the grim reaper nigga!". The door quickly swings open. There stands Cole. A man of average height and a little stocky. He takes a long look at Silas..."Oh shit, My nigga Silas!".

...One of the five founding members of The Red Jacks. Currently resides in the Northwood section of Algonquin. A known drug-dealer. He is currently in a conflict with a rival drug-dealer named "Steel". Cole is somewhat paranoid and is known to carry a Desert Eagle with him at all times. He is extremely loyal and has a very small amount of remorse. He has become emotionally dead after his experiences in the streets and in prison. He has a son from Valerie Parker who lives in Bohan. Was recently surprised to hear that his old friend Silas Styles is not dead...

...Silas and Cole catch up with each other while walking downstairs.

Cole: Where the fuck you been at?!
Silas: All over. This shit's been crazy. They had me locked up in this mental house in Carcer City. I can't remember much, but there was a fire that killed almost everyone. I dipped out of there and they assumed that I was dead. Then I went to Los Santos. I did some dirt with the Temple Drive Families. Then I worked with some shady guy who gave me some contracts. I took care of a few people but things got hot. That guy turned up dead and I found out that the targets were all from different Mafia families. I decided to go to Las Venturas. I met this girl there and I bought her a trailer with some of the money I earned. So, that is my little safehouse on da westcoast. I did some car theft for some dudes and then they got arrested. It seems like the cops were always a step ahead. Next I went to some place called New Haven. It was a shithole though. Worked for some Mobsters there and I met Amber...

Girlfriend of Silas Styles. Former resident of New Haven. She worked as a stripper and was the girlfriend of Silas' cousin Larry. Larry got life in prison for murder and she eventually formed a relationship with Silas. Currently she is in Liberty City, in the Northwood section. She is outgoing and has a great personality. Amber gets shy and embarrased whenever somebody shows aggression. Normally she talks a lot and has a good sense of humor. During serious situations she tends to stop talking and becomes shy. Amber is also known by the nickname "Fox". This is her stagename and is used by some close friends. In the past she was kidnapped by some mobsters in order to lure Silas into a trap. Silas managed to kill them and save her but a mysterious man who had hired the kidnappers escaped. Amber is not proficient in any combat but is a capable medic. Amber just wants to live a peaceful life...

Silas and Cole exit the apartment building and walk to the black landstalker. Silas introduces Amber and Cole. While they are getting the bags out of the SUV, Silas looks across the street to see a brownish-green Esperanto. Inside Silas can see a middle-aged white man with a mustache. Silas suddenly grows suspicious of the man. The man and SIlas look in each others eyes for about ten seconds. After a while Silas follows Amber and Cole into the building and upstairs...
